Airfreight capacity on the Taiwan-United States route remains exceptionally tight as sustained demand for electronics, semiconductors and artificial intelligence servers continues to drive up rates, according to Dimerco. Direct and indirect capacity on the lane is constrained. The Taipei-Europe corridor shows greater stability, with pricing aligned to or slightly below US levels. Regional services from Taiwan to Malaysia, Thailand and India face similar pressures. Congestion persists at Bangkok and Manila airports, extending import door-to-door delivery times. Manila Airport cargo releases are facing delays exceeding one week due to limited staging capacity. Early June frontloading activity proved temporary, though technology shipment volumes sustain tight conditions. Taiwan's manufacturing sector expanded, with the purchasing managers index reaching 56.1, while South Korea, Japan, Vietnam and India maintained expansion as well.
