Thapanee Techajareonvikul assumed the role of CEO and President of Berli Jucker PCL in 2023, marking a historic first: the retail and packaging company's first female chief executive. As the youngest daughter of TCC Group founder Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi, she now oversees the conglomerate's retail operations including Big C, Thailand's second-largest hypermarket chain. Big C operates across Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Hong Kong. Her father's business empire, valued at $10 billion and spanning beverages, property, retail and manufacturing, was divided equally among five children last year. The portfolio includes Chang beer and Singapore-listed Fraser & Neave. Techajareonvikul, educated at MIT and Harvard Business School, cited her mother's prominent role in building the empire as formative to her leadership approach.
