Thorn Run Partners Establishes Latin America Practice Led by Former FMC Chair Sola

Thorn Run Partners has launched a dedicated business unit to capitalize on expanding economic opportunities across the Western Hemisphere. The seven-member Latin America Business Opportunities Practice will be headed by partner Louis Sola, former Federal Maritime Commission chairman, alongside former FMC Chief of Staff Mary Thien Hoang and government affairs specialist Hayden Jewett. The team will guide clients through the region's evolving policy landscape as supply chain diversification and nearshoring reshape regional trade patterns. Services include identifying growth and investment opportunities, connecting clients with regional stakeholders, and navigating regulatory environments across logistics, energy, and critical industries. Sola emphasized the practice brings deep on-the-ground relationships and policy expertise to help organizations establish or expand Latin American operations. The multidisciplinary team offers capabilities in government relations, international trade, maritime policy, and public-private engagement.
