Titan Aviation Leasing and Bain Capital have sold a Boeing 767-300ERF aircraft to Cargo Aircraft Management, a unit of Air Transport Services Group. The aircraft, carrying manufacturer's serial number 33768, reflects sustained demand for 767 freighters in the cargo market. Eamonn Forbes, senior vice president and chief commercial officer at Titan Asset Management Ireland, called the transaction evidence of the company's disciplined portfolio management strategy. Andy Lawrence, president of Cargo Aircraft Management, said the acquisition reinforces the unit's standing as the world's leading cargo leasing business. Industry observers note the 767-300ER conversion market remains robust. Major operators including Amazon and Cargojet have taken deliveries this year. However, analysts warn feedstock availability for the aircraft type is tightening, potentially constraining future conversion rates.
