Transfix Embeds Carrier Vetting Into TMS Platform

Transfix has integrated Highway's carrier verification technology directly into its transportation management system, enabling brokers and third-party logistics providers to vet carriers without leaving their existing workflow. The integration is now available to all Transfix TMS customers. Operations and compliance teams can verify carrier legitimacy, insurance status and operating authority during sourcing and onboarding. Real-time fraud and compliance checks run during load booking to identify carrier impersonation, double brokering and identity-based cargo theft before freight is awarded. Highway's 2025 Freight Fraud Index shows the company blocked nearly 2 million fraudulent emails and 8.5 million spoofed phone numbers last year. The report revealed fraud has shifted from impersonation schemes toward direct theft involving legitimate carrier identities. The integration streamlines verification by combining identity checks with the booking workflow, reducing manual compliance tasks.
