Triumph Financial reported nearly 38% growth in third-quarter transportation revenue, with approximately one-third attributed to organic expansion rather than market cyclicality alone. CEO Aaron Graft credited the timing of product platform maturation alongside an improving freight market—a combination the company had not experienced during four years of development spending. The expanded platform now includes payments, intelligence, and load pay offerings.

Triumph added more than 700 net new factoring customers annually and now reaches 65-70% of all brokered freight transactions. Rising invoice sizes reflect five inflationary pressures: driver wages climbing to 70 cents per mile, diesel costs up 67% year-over-year, nuclear verdict-driven insurance increases, higher equipment prices, and more expensive equipment financing.

The payments segment achieved operating income for the first time this quarter. Graft noted this milestone arrived two years after the segment reached positive EBITDA margin, marking continued progress in segment profitability.
