Truck Parking Emerges as Retention Tool for Fleets Struggling With Driver Turnover

Truck Parking Club is positioning reserved parking spots as a solution to driver retention, with spaces costing as little as $150 monthly near drivers' homes. The company's Fleet Parking offering targets fleets with five or more vehicles. Chief Relationship Officer Brent Hutto joined the Texas Trucking Association's Board of Directors in August, where he chairs its Truck Parking Committee. Texas represents the company's largest market, with more than 700 property locations and nearly 14,000 available spaces. The national network operates more than 6,400 locations across all 50 states, up from 5,000 in April, with a target of 10,000 by end of 2026. Drivers from 93 of the top 100 fleets have utilized the service. Fleet managers have historically overlooked parking as a retention lever, instead directing drivers to search independently for available spaces.
