Trucker Path has integrated Verisk CargoNet cargo theft intelligence into its navigation platform, enabling drivers to access location-based theft risk information while routing and selecting parking. The feature provides county-level theft ratings, monthly stolen vehicle counts, targeted commodities data and common theft subtypes. Users can filter theft zones by risk level during route planning.
Cargo theft significantly impacts U.S. freight networks. Through May 2026, carriers reported 1,120 cargo theft incidents resulting in more than $121 million in losses. California, Texas and New Jersey accounted for more than half of first-quarter theft activity, concentrated around warehouses, distribution centers and truck stops.
Trucker Path's navigation platform serves 1.2 million users and already offers truck-specific routing, real-time parking availability, fuel pricing, weigh station status and weather data. The theft intelligence addition gives drivers visibility into high-risk areas to support safer, more profitable operations.
