President Donald Trump purchased between $247,008 and $630,000 in Palantir Technologies stock during the first quarter of 2026, records released this week show. Trump made at least seven purchases in March alone, totaling as much as $530,000. Trump also sold as much as $5 million worth of Palantir in February. The following month, Trump praised the Miami-based software company on Truth Social, writing that Palantir "has proven to have great war fighting capabilities and equipment," noting the company's tools have reportedly been used to identify targets in Iran. The endorsement came as shares experienced their worst trading week in over a year amid an Iran war and after the company drew criticism from famed short-seller Michael Burry. Trump also acquired shares of Nvidia, Apple and Amazon during the same period. First-quarter filings documented thousands of transactions worth hundreds of millions of dollars overall. Several Palantir trades were marked as "unsolicited," indicating independent execution rather than broker recommendation. Trump's investment accounts are maintained by third-party financial institutions with autonomous portfolio management authority.
