The United Arab Emirates is constructing a new pipeline designed to circumvent the Strait of Hormuz, with operations expected to commence in 2027. The infrastructure project will expand the emirate's crude oil export capabilities through the port of Fujairah upon completion. Once operational, the pipeline will double oil export capacity at the facility. According to a statement from the emirate's media office, the project will help the UAE meet global demand for petroleum products.
