Union Pacific captured multiple honors from Toyota Logistics Services for 2025. The carrier earned its fifth consecutive Customer Service Award and Kaizen Excellence Award, plus a fourth straight President's Award. UP also received the On-Time Performance Award for the first time, while its Loup Logistics unit was named Service Inbound Carrier of the Year.

Meanwhile, Norfolk Southern held its inaugural Supplier Summit in Atlanta last week, drawing more than 100 supplier partners representing engineering, intermodal, mechanical, technology, fuel and logistics divisions. The gathering emphasized collaborative performance and ecosystem alignment. NS Vice President Mina De Oliveira stressed the importance of anticipating change and recovering swiftly from disruptions. Safety emerged as a cornerstone theme, with the railroad noting that secure operations drive efficiency and resilience.

Separately, CSX, NS, R. Corman and UP were named to Newsweek's America's Most Patriotic Companies list for 2026.
