United Parcel Service will begin offering time-definite air freight service between the U.S. and Mexico in August, marking the carrier's first dedicated heavy freight flights on its own aircraft to the country. The initiative targets automotive and industrial manufacturers operating in both nations seeking faster, more predictable cross-border logistics. UPS has invested nearly $50 million to develop a freight-compatible product within its Ground network and assembled a team of more than 300 industry specialists to advise customers navigating tariff changes and regulatory shifts. Customers can select one-day, two-day or three-day service options. The carrier operates scheduled flights to Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey. Ground transportation is available to U.S. gateways including El Paso and Dallas for onward air connections. A new Ground freight-pricing option handles multi-package shipments exceeding 150 pounds as a less-than-truckload solution.
