Vinted, Europe's leading secondhand marketplace, is expanding operations in Germany through a partnership with DHL Group. The collaboration integrates Vinted with DHL's 41,000 drop-off and collection points, including Packstations, Poststations, and DeinFach lockers across the country. The arrangement follows a successful pilot program and prioritizes locker-to-locker shipping, allowing sellers to deposit parcels at any time while buyers retrieve them on their schedule. No prior registration is required for either party to use the service. A DHL E-Commerce Trends Report indicates 67% of German online shoppers have already sold items via digital platforms, reflecting the sector's rapid growth. The partnership addresses rising consumer expectations for hassle-free shipping in the booming secondhand market.
