Volvo Trucks North America introduced the Silver Service Contract on Monday at the American Trucking Associations' Management Conference & Exhibition in Charlotte, North Carolina. The offering bundles powertrain repairs with preventive maintenance into a single monthly payment. It adds engine, aftertreatment system, transmission, and clutch coverage to Volvo's existing Blue Service Contract, which handles routine maintenance using connected-vehicle data and artificial intelligence. Peter Voorhoeve, president of Volvo Trucks North America, said the plan addresses unpredictability in fleet maintenance costs, which climbed 8.6 percent in 2025. Silver is available for the all-new VNL and VNR models through Volvo's nearly 400 authorized dealers across the United States and Canada. Customers can finance Silver interest-free through Volvo Financial Services. Optional add-ons including DOT inspections and truck washes vary by dealer location. Volvo did not disclose pricing, contract terms, or mileage limitations.
