Indiana State Police discovered 126 kilograms of cocaine hidden in a tractor's sleeper compartment during a motor carrier compliance inspection on Interstate 70 in Putnam County. Officers stopped the Freightliner operated by Harpreet Singh of Greenwood, Indiana, near mile marker 31 for expired fuel tax documentation. Singh claimed he was transporting an empty trailer from Memphis to Indianapolis following management instructions to pick up equipment at an undisclosed gas station. The driver identified his employer as IN VEIN STUDIOS LLC of Decatur, Alabama. Company officer Anuj Kumar disputed Singh's account, stating the tractor had broken down in Oklahoma City and was later sent bobtail toward Indiana. Kumar maintained the company did not provide the trailer found during the inspection and denied involvement in any narcotics transportation.
