Amazon Business has crossed $60 billion in annualized gross sales while serving 11 million customers globally. The platform added 1.8 million organizations this year, with a growth rate matching that of a Fortune 100 standalone company.

The expansion fundamentally alters how businesses source everything from office supplies to same-day groceries. For carriers and brokers, this shift has significant implications. Procurement consolidation around Amazon Business means fewer traditional distributor touchpoints and increased shipments through Amazon's logistics network.

The platform generated $880 million in Prime shipping savings for customers last year and $1 billion through business-specific discounts. Amazon Business added 30 percent new inventory year-over-year and launched same-day grocery delivery across 2,300 U.S. cities in the first half of this year.

The company is shifting B2B purchasing from quarterly cycles to continuous procurement, enabling real-time price optimization and faster fulfillment across sectors.
