Clarios is launching Battery Manager in Europe, extending its subscription-based battery-monitoring service beyond North America. The service monitors fleet vehicle batteries through aftermarket sensors, tracking battery health and alerting operators to potential failures. The system currently tracks approximately 1,100 connected vehicles across multiple operational segments, with Clarios working with 20 fleet partners. The company expects to surpass 2,000 monitored vehicles by October. Battery Manager Pro was introduced in March and monitors 12-, 24- and 48-volt systems across any truck manufacturer and battery brand. The hardware includes a sensor attached to the battery's negative post and a gateway transmitting data to cloud-based analytics. For smaller fleets, monthly pricing reaches $15 per vehicle, or $180 annually per truck. Clarios estimates the service delivers approximately $500 in annual savings per vehicle by preventing unnecessary battery replacements and avoiding costly roadside failures.
