Denmark's economy is set to achieve its fastest expansion since 2021, driven primarily by pharmaceutical sector exports, according to Danske Bank. The country's largest financial institution projects momentum will extend into 2027. The pharmaceutical-led growth comes amid a mixed global economic outlook, with the U.S. Federal Reserve noting positive economic signals alongside sector uncertainty. Container shipping reliability has deteriorated sharply across Asia's major ports, with on-time performance declining 6.1 percentage points in recent months—the steepest monthly drop in over five years. Meanwhile, domestic U.S. trucking markets have shown strength, with spot rates posting their largest quarterly gain in five years during the second quarter, a trend expected to persist through the third quarter.
