DSV in Early Talks to Accelerate CargoWise Transition

DSV is exploring an early migration to WiseTech Global's new CargoWise commercial model, potentially years ahead of its contract expiration in September 2028. WiseTech CEO Zubin Appoo traveled to Copenhagen in May to meet with DSV leadership, including CEO Jens Lund, for discussions on accelerating the transition to CargoWise value packs. Appoo said conversations have continued since the half-day meeting, though no formal agreement has been reached. The discussions represent a significant development given DSV's stated intention to eventually migrate operations to DB Schenker's Tango platform as its primary strategic system. WiseTech countered earlier concerns about CargoWise's future within DSV by noting that the forwarder's transaction volumes on the platform have increased. The potential early adoption underscores ongoing negotiations between the two logistics technology players.
