Aviro360 is addressing a critical inefficiency in intermodal yard operations: manual inventory processes that create data delays across transportation management systems. The company, spun out from terminal operator ConGlobal, is live at more than 80 sites nationally and has booked business past 120 sites by year-end. The efficiency gains are substantial. A 6,000-container yard can be inventoried in under one hour at 99% accuracy using automation, compared to four hours at 75% accuracy using manual clipboard counts. President Ilhan Kolko projects expansion to approximately 200 sites in 2027. Reducing dwell time carries tangible financial benefits—detention costs trucking firms an estimated $3.5 billion annually in lost productivity. Aviro360 estimates each site generates more than $650,000 in annual return value. The technology addresses what industry observers describe as the final unautomated link in modernized supply chains.
