Conlio secured €6.1 million in funding to automate document verification for road freight forwarders, addressing one of logistics' most labor-intensive manual processes. The Berlin-based software verifies CMR consignment notes, proof of delivery documents, and carrier invoices before payment and customer invoicing. Conlio estimates its technology can automate over 90% of document checks and boost forwarder EBIT by up to 30%, or more than €1 million annually for a €100 million revenue forwarder. The funding round included Haufe Group Ventures, WaVe-X, F-LOG Ventures, Puzzle Ventures, Booom Ventures, and Yellow. The investment arrives as European freight markets weaken, with industry participants seeking efficiency gains. Conlio works with midsize and enterprise road freight forwarders in Germany.
