BermudAir Launches Cargo Operations With Embraer E190F Freighter

BermudAir has entered the cargo market with a converted Embraer E190 freighter leased from Regional One, marking the first E190F deployment in North America. The Caribbean-focused carrier operates two E175s and two E190s across 10 destinations in the Caribbean, US and Canada. The freighter addition enables BermudAir to leverage its existing network for express cargo and time-sensitive freight operations. BermudAir is the second operator of the E190F globally, following Maltese carrier Bridges Air Cargo, which began flights with the model in March. Regional One holds five firm orders for the aircraft, with two conversions already delivered to Bridges. The E190F offers 13,500 kg maximum structural payload, 40% greater volume than cargo turboprops, and up to 30% lower operating costs than larger narrowbodies.
