China rejected G20 criticism over its export-dependent model, characterizing the pressure as protectionism. Meanwhile, growth stalled on Africa–Far East tradelanes as Asian exporters captured growing demand, creating divergent performance across major routes.
Air cargo demand bucked broader economic headwinds, climbing 8.5 percent year-over-year despite geopolitical conflicts, tariff uncertainty, and disrupted transport corridors. The resilience underscored persistent demand for expedited shipping even as traditional containerized routes faced uneven growth.
