Huntington Bank Sues 24 R&R Affiliates Over $12M in Unpaid Debt

Huntington National Bank filed suit against 24 companies affiliated with the defunct R&R Family of Companies, seeking recovery of more than $12 million in outstanding debt. The lawsuit, filed June 8 in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, names R&R Express, Refrigerated Food Express, GT Worldwide Transport, Load to Ride Transportation and multiple other entities as defendants. The bank alleges joint and several liability under a credit agreement executed in March 2022. That agreement originally provided up to $85 million in revolving loan commitments, later amended to approximately $65.9 million through Huntington and $19 million through S&T Bank. Borrowers pledged substantially all assets as collateral. The R&R logistics group began shutting down operations in January, leaving employees jobless and creditors pursuing unpaid obligations.
