Icelease has committed to converting one Boeing 767-300 aircraft into a freighter, with options for two additional conversions as the Irish lessor bolsters its cargo capabilities. The first aircraft will enter conversion in the first quarter of 2027, with delivery expected during the second quarter at ST Engineering's Singapore facilities. The 767-300BCF will join the managed cargo portfolio of sister company IAT Leasing, which currently operates seven Boeing 737-800 converted freighters. Other cargo aircraft are leased across multiple customers. The medium-widebody freighter offers a 3,300 nautical mile range and 57-tonne payload capacity. The deal extends a partnership spanning more than two decades between Icelease and Boeing, encompassing both new aircraft deliveries and conversion programs to address rising global freight demand.
