Posten Bring, Norway's state-owned postal and logistics operator, is substantially increasing parcel capacity ahead of the Christmas season. The company has deployed hundreds of additional parcel lockers and commissioned its largest distribution terminal in Moss, capable of processing more than 500,000 packages daily. The facility will primarily handle import volumes from Sweden and Denmark in addition to local packages from Østfold. Parcel locker usage in Norway surged 50% from January through September compared with the prior year, with August volumes already exceeding last year's Christmas peak. Deutsche Post in Germany is similarly preparing for holiday demand by expanding processing infrastructure, hiring temporary workers and growing its parcel station network. Both operators emphasized consumer awareness to retrieve packages quickly, allowing lockers to recycle units during peak shipping periods. Most packages are collected within four days.
