TrashLab announced Thursday a $12 million Series A funding round to develop additional automation agents for waste management companies. Nearly 80% of haulers using the platform now employ the call-handling agent to process after-hours orders and customer inquiries. The capital will fund new agents for dispatch, billing and collections operations. First State Waste tripled its fleet while maintaining its original back-office staff since implementing the system. TrashLab's unified platform consolidates call center functions, customer records, dispatch routing, driver apps, truck cameras, billing and reporting into a single system. At Uribe Refuse, truck cameras now automatically trigger customer notifications and invoicing when service issues arise. Ventana led the Series A, joined by returning investors Bienville Capital, Harlem Capital and CreativeCo. TrashLab reports annual contract value grew more than sevenfold since 2024. The platform serves hundreds of haulers across more than 40 states in the U.S. and Canada, having managed over 5 million tons of material since launch.
