Miami International Airport has partnered with Kalé Logistics Systems to implement a centralized cargo community platform. The system aims to reduce truck congestion and streamline operations at the major freight hub. It will enable airlines, logistics companies, motor carriers, customs brokers, warehouse operators and regulators to exchange data on a single platform, replacing fragmented manual processes. The platform includes modules for truck scheduling, electronic delivery orders, digital payments and customs filing. Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said the initiative positions the airport as an industry leader in efficiency and sustainability. The airport handles approximately 190 cargo-only flights daily and more than 1,600 truck trips, operating as the busiest non-express cargo airport in the continental U.S. and the world's largest for international capacity excluding narrow-body aircraft.
