UK Police Investigate Coordinated Guinness Theft Targeting Runcorn Depot Twice in Single Night

Cheshire Constabulary is investigating two separate trailer thefts from an industrial estate in Runcorn, England. Two tractor units arrived within a two-hour window Monday evening, each coupling to loaded GXO equipment before departing the facility. Thieves made off with more than 800 barrels of Guinness valued at approximately $277,000. The first incident occurred around 7:45 p.m., with a second theft around 9:30 p.m. Police describe the initial suspect as a white male with dark facial hair and a beanie. The second driver wore a cap. Both white tri-axle curtain-side trailers remain missing, marked DL736 and DL542. Investigators are appealing to motorists with dashcam footage from the area.
