American Eagle Outfitters has elevated Amazon Shipping to a top performer within its multi-carrier delivery strategy, according to company logistics executives speaking at an industry conference in Orlando on Tuesday. The retailer piloted the service in spring 2025 before fully integrating it ahead of the peak holiday season.

Amazon Shipping operates a network where company trucks pick up parcels and route them through Amazon sort centers before final-mile delivery. The service resolved critical pain points for American Eagle, including seven-day weekly delivery capability and price predictability, according to Brandon Friez, senior vice president of global logistics and supply chain intelligence.

Performance during peak season particularly impressed American Eagle leadership. Despite concerns that Prime Day demand could strain Amazon's delivery network and slow service, the carrier maintained consistent speeds through the holiday shopping period. This enabled American Eagle to achieve its strongest peak season performance. The achievement underscores Amazon's expanding role as a third-party logistics provider.
