Shell Rotella will premiere a video Sept. 13 featuring professional truck drivers sharing candid insights into their careers and life on the road during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. Nearly 100 drivers participated in unscripted conversations at Shell Rotella's Recording Studio during the 2026 Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky. The group included owner-operators, fleet drivers and trucking personalities such as The Boston Trucker, Clarissa Rankin and Tarik Al-Amin. Established in 1988 by the American Trucking Associations, National Truck Driver Appreciation Week recognizes the approximately 6 million professional drivers moving goods across the U.S. supply chain. Industry participants are marking the week with various initiatives. Pilot is running its annual Road Warrior contest with nominations open through Sept. 18, offering one winner a customized Kenworth W990 truck and $50,000. The company is also providing free drinks and snacks at participating travel centers and hosting promotional events.
